2008-04-04 Everyone's been talking about the resurrection of Club Dredd but we've been quiet for the past month as things are still in development. You may have noticed bands have been announcing their gigs there already. Recently Anthem magazine featured an encouraging article about the place so before we get pre-empted further, it's time to make an official statement.
Yes, Club Dredd is back! After nine years in hibernation, we felt that the timing and conditions were just right to reopen again. We found an ideal partner with the Gweilos Group, which has in its own right contributed to the local music scene.
Through this partnership, Club Dredd has now taken over the second floor of Gweilos Eastwood, taking advantage of the facilities there. In this year of movie sequels, the latest incarnation is now Club Dredd Eastwood.
